In 1978, The Isaac Ray Center, Inc. was founded on the belief that behavioral science, law and the justice system could work collaboratively in addressing some of societies most complex issues: dangerous behaviors, approaches to the mentally ill offender and sexual misconduct. Since then, the Isaac Ray Center has become the leading forensic psychiatry, correctional mental health and behavioral risk assessment consultancy. The Isaac Ray Center is contracted by Cook County to provide mental health services for mentally ill detainees at Cermak Health Services, Cook County Jail and the Juvenile Dentention Center, making it the largest mental health provider in Illinois.
